What is Page Rank and How it Works (Apa Itu Page Rank dan Bagaimana ia Berfungsi)

Page rank is defined as the importance of the site. Bassically it is the way Google ranks websites. Let's say that we have one link from a website with a page rank of 7 and twenty from websites with a page rank of 1. The one link from the page rank 7 site is much more important than all those other links combined.

As a example, Wikipedia.com, which has a very high page rank, or a lot of the big brand sites, they all have a high page rank, because a lot of people are linking to them. That's basically how website can develop their page rank. When a website get a link from high page rank, Google sees that as a vote for that website. So we can conclude that if Wikipedia link to our site, Google cames along and says if Wikipedia is linking to our site, then it must be a good sites.
